Budgeting for a makeover
A full makeover project will cost $50,000 – $60,000 but we’ll do smaller projects for as little as $25,000 and consider projects over $60,000 if you can tip in some of your own savings. Below are the typical budgets we work to and the parts of the house we focus on.

Get more bang for your buck
A First Home Makeover is a balancing act between involving you in the design and keeping the costs within scope. We’ll generally give you a high degree of freedom over the kitchen, and let you decide your paint colours and floor coverings. But for most of everything else you will get to choose from limited ranges.
We will agree the overall budget with you upfront. We charge a project fee of 25% of the budget and provide everything at wholesale cost. This gives you total transparency of where the money is being spent. For example, at wholesale pricing we can put a kitchen in for $8,000 excluding appliances.
Due to our scale and networks we can source products far more cost effectively than yourself. Our costs are generally 25%-50% below what you could source. So in essence you’re getting great value. We’ll do more for less and you also get the benefit of a fixed price contract, a designer, a project manager and renovation funding.
